The Role

· Based within the Eastern Region Examinations Contract Team, and reporting directly to the Project Manager.

· Supporting Management for Enabling Works activities across the Network Rail Eastern region.

· Activities include devegetation, obstruction removal, reinstatement, remedial works, and inspection.

· Working with clients including Network Rail and local authorities.

· Work closely with the PM (South) to ensure that an achievable programme of work is produced, monitored and met.

Responsibilities

· Project Management and reporting of assigned work.

· Liaison and management of subcontractors, monitoring progress and feeding back to the Project Manager.

· Production of site specific documentation, including WPPs, TBS and RAMS.

· Deputising for the Project Manager when required to do so.

· Ensuring that safe hours worked regulations are adhered to.

The Candidate

The Role

We are seeking an Engineering Surveyor that will be responsible for leading survey activities, managing a small team and assisting Project Managers. It is important that you have knowledge of both survey and railway access processes including topographical surveying and laser scanning. You will lead in safety critical duties up to Engineering Supervisor (ES) level as required.

You must be able to demonstrate expertise in both manual and automated site surveying techniques and data processing.

The Role:

This role is responsible for helping to develop and manage the Examinations Team, primarily from a Technical and Assurance perspective. The role is primarily office based, but will involve aspects of on site working as required.

Daily Activities:

• May act as the managing examiner on complex structures or sites requiring multiple teams.

Warehouse Operative

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Warehouse team. Bridgeway Consulting provide a diverse range of specialist engineering services to the Rail Industry. The stores personnel are part of the Business Support Services team and are integral to the success and continued growth of the company.

The Warehouse Operative will report to the Warehouse Supervisor and help perform a key function within the Business, which can also include some facilities duties. The store is the nucleus of our operation, providing all equipment required for site based staff to carry out their duties (on a job by job basis).

The role will involve, but is not limited to the following: -

• Loading / Unloading Equipment from vans
• Booking in site samples
• Reporting equipment damage and defects
• Keeping the stores tidy and organised
• Ensuring that all equipment is maintained in terms of calibration and servicing
